Sports Massage

Sports Massage is designed to assist in correcting movement patterns by the manipulation and realignment of the soft tissue which surrounds our bodies.  Problems can occur when this soft tissue becomes in-balanced from repetitive and/or strenuous physical activity leading to poor movement patterns. This in turn, can lead to muscle injuries and joint misplacements.  

Using the body’s own healing abilities, sports massage can be extremely effective at alleviating pain and stiffness by the breaking down of adhesions to improve flexibility, while enhancing aid recovery to prevent future injuries.  Applied before or after exercise, it can affect performance, aid recovery and prevent injury.
